So. Long story short: I've been on WCB for awhile now due to injuries at work. I used to work in a kitchen and fell, re-injuring some past surgery wounds in my left arm. I had surgery in August on my elbow, and due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome I heal very strangely and slowly and my scar tissue grows out of control. I haven't been back to work, and have been on the phone back and forth between my surgeon's office and WCB trying to find out who isn't sending reports and who is bullshitting me around. I had a doctor's app. October 22nd and they STILL haven't sent the report in to WCB (But WCB has only sent in a request TWICE in that month and a bit). Apparently they sent it in yesterday and now I have to wait until Monday to see if it actually was received. The guy I talked to at WCB was such an asshole and it was frustrating. I tried explaining that this is the SIXTH TIME (SERIOUSLY) That reports have gone missing or been miss placed and it's totally unacceptable. I am a human, I need to live and eat and pay my rent. It's not complicated what I'm asking them to do. It is simple. Send the report, review the report, make a decision as to where you stand on my claim and if you'll allow me to continue physiotherapy, get an elbow brace, and if I can get wrist surgery covered. For fuck's sake. Assholes. I'm so mad. Yes, I know I'm lucky to have a system like WCB in place and all that but right now I'm just fucking pissed and need to rant about it. If one person tries to tell me how thankful I should be, you're not going to be pleased with my response. Let me be mad for a bit.
