A heartfelt tribute to the sad and sudden loss of Alexi Laiho, one of the best guitarists and composers of our time, and a former founding member and leader of the iconic Finnish Metal band Children of Bodom, disbanded since 2019.
In 2020, Laiho had announced with his former COB partner, Daniel Freyberg, the formation of Bodom After Midnight, with which he sought to continue his musical legacy. Alexi managed to record three songs with his new band, which will be released posthumously.
The reasons for his death have not yet transcended, but it is known that he had been suffering from health problems for several years.
From here we remember him with this classic Children of Bodom song, "Everytime I die", single extracted from his album "Follow The Reaper" published at the end of October 2000.
