To clarify everyone's worries... I'm not pursuing seeing my student DURING school. But, I was asking everyone's opinion after the semester when she graduates and I don't have to worry about losing my job. So, sorry to worry
NEWS:
My friend's mom was not responsive to being withdrawn from sedation medicine and the only bodily functions she has is breathing. Basically, she most likely will not wake up and remain lifeless on a machine for the rest of her life.
JESUS this is killing me to think about while I type this. It really hits me because I always pictured going to Japan to meet Miichy's mom and singing karoake with them. Her mom is slightly famous because she was a really good singer. Now, if I visit my friend in Japan she will be by herself and I will have no one from her immediate family to meet.
One thing that both Miichy and I have in common is that we have no siblings. Her dad died last year from Meningitis AND advanced cancer. She has watched BOTH her parents leave this world in an unpleasing and unsettled way. I really feel for her as a friend but also because I consider her a part of my family. We all say that our best friend's are like family but her and I have bond that is unique and the most innocent of love. There is no romance except for the happiness with being in each other's presence and having each other in our lives. She is what I consider my sister. This sucks hardcore
I hate having such sad blogs but this really is affecting me. So, I will get to other news...
Yesterday I FINALLY got my toucan tattoo. This is a piece that has been on hold for 6 months. I'm stoked! Here it is~ Fenway himself!
* the artist is Alex from Fat Ram's Pumpkin Tattoo in Jamaica Plain, Boston. Alex just graduated his apprenticeship under Ram and as you can see... he is a good artist. Not only that but this tattoo concept started last Summer when I went camping with the studio artists in Cape Cod. Alex is a big animal lover but a lot of his sketches revolve around animals and their actions or some weird moments. As Alex and I talked about toucans the idea sprouted and lead to my tattoo that I had poked on me yesterday. I'm happy.
Tonight, I picked up Miichy's cats because her bf didn't have enough time to stay with them at her apartment so we are taking care of them under our roof for now. One cat is a whiny-ass blue-eyed Siamese while the other is a bitch Persian white. Sylvie (the bitch) likes only me. So when I started writing this blog she popped around the corner because she is really curious exploring my house. This is her... this weird "lighting eyes" effect happened!

the new Chin-Chin... any suggestions for a name? Preferably something that relates to his slivered ear - it's rugged and bad-ass in my books!
