WOW! I saw a GREAT, TOOL concert at the Tweeter Center last Friday night. That show's audio was the best out of the 3 times I've been to Mansfield. The visuals for TOOL were intense!!!
I, then saw Massive Attack Sunday night at the Orpheum Theater. I went with my lovely friend Tegan from Lightwave Tattoo. She copped badass tickets in the 9th row in front of the stage. The light visuals of M.A. were very thought-provoking and explosively vivid in a simple way...if that makes any sense??? Before they came on, a light banner scrolled Boston facts and information for 30 minutes. For instance, it gave the ethincity ratios of the city and named famous people from Boston. Did you know Uma Thurman and Edgar Allan Poe were from Boston? During the show the banner scrolled very depressing, but true facts about politics, the war, darfur, etc...
On top of a great show, I was handed an LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad flyer outside on my way to the parking garage. I own 15 CDs with bukem's involvement in my music collection. I'm not a huge fan of techno, but Bukem and Conrad make some intense drum n' bass.
Key word of this entry: intense!
I love Chris Cornell
