I did not make as much progress as I had hoped yesterday. As I tear apart the house I find all kinds of things wrong and this project has not been an exception. So spent yesterday building a temporary set of supports so I could cut out a piece of rotten cross beam. Then I installed the replacement cross beam and added some additional support. So today I should finally get the new shower in place.

Thank you, Mizoo. When you have a 100 year old house, I think you have to become a handy man by necessity. I am just trying not make any major mistakes as I work on it and that usually means it turns out pretty well.
