Allow me to introduce myself.
First and foremost, I am in the immortal words of Douglas Adams, "Mostly Harmless". I seem be a bit on the older side of the crowd here at SG, but I make up for it by having never lost my sense of good music and fun. I am a dyed in the wool computer geek, but not your typical computer geek if that makes sense. I am an accomplished cook and brewer, two of my favorite activities when I am not working.
I always hate writing this kind of thing because I am never sure what to put and I do not just want to repeat everything on my profile.
So what I purpose to save me from continuing to babble on is an exercise in interactivity. Ask me a question, anything you like. I promise I will not lie to you, but I may plead the 5th.![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)

My favorite beer style is an IPA. I particularly like Snakedog IPA from Flying Dog Brewery and 60 Minute IPA from Dogfish Head Brewery.
As for my favorite thing to cook that is tough. I make a really good chili and a excellent beef stew. But if I had to pick one favorite it might be my easy Chicken Cacciatore. I like the regular kind as well, but when I am pressed for time, I use canned tomatoes with the onion and pepper already in it. A few herbs and spices and a splash or two of cooking sherry and dinner is finished in about 30 minutes.
In general, I like to make things that have a lot of flavor in them. So I really like to cook Italian, Mexican, Indian, and such.
