Yo, hows things keeping?
So, I find out if i am being made redundant today, if i am then I won't be surprised cos I was told a few months ago when I got cut back to two days a week that it would be reviewed after two months.
I'm not to sure how i feel about it if it does happen. I've been in this job for over five and a half years, having started a month and a day after my 18th birthday it's kinda all I've known workwise in my adult life so it will be a shame. On the flip side if I do get made redundant then I think it's time i caught a bus the fuck out of Guildford and moved somewhere that has a fucking soul cos my hometown sure as hell doesn't.
I'm thinking Brighton, it's got a good music scene to get my band shit sorted and my bass playing friend is up for the idea of eventually making it down there. We've written and absolute fuck load of music in the past few months, just riffs and sections of songs so it's time we knuckled down and got it all stitched together. We're going to be jamming with a mate of ours who is interested in playing second guitar and singing so if that goes well then all we need is a bad ass drummer. I think getting the band together is the hard part, writing the songs and playing live is what I'm good at.
Also Brighton is where the tattoo shop i go to is located and it's a pain having to catch a train down everytime i've got an idea (lots of them right now, still no deniro, lame!) and I like the idea of living by the sea in the summer. Just chilling on the beach at night, smoking herb, drinking beer and jamming out, it's time to go starving artist/hippy, fuck conventional right now.
Thats bout it in my neck of the woods
Laters ya'll

What really gripes me at the moment is that in certain places you can read about the "revival of the housing market" - apparently house prices have increased by 1% - House prices are going up yet people are still getting made redundant left right and centre? Yeah, this makes sense... Recovery my arse!
But anyway, good luck mate, I've gotta say that I'm 50/50 for hoping you keep your job, because the Brighton thing sounds awesome!
