Right... Let me try and write an upbeat blog.....

Nope.... can't be done....

Well, I think I'm now at the stage where so much has gone shit that I'm past caring anymore. At the moment, no job, no money, no weed (not such a bad thing I suppose) and now no car. Yup, the Citoren of Doom failed it's MOT... mind, it's only untill Tuesday (fingers crossed) when it can be booked in for a re-test. I planned to spend the entire bank holiday hauled up in here being miserable, but has not been the case. Today started with some crappy texts between me and the poor lass who I stupidly asked out. Difference of opinion at the moment, long boring story....

Had a wonderous shower and walked to the shop for the weekends supplys (a shit load of tobbacco, rizla, filters and milk) got back to wash up and while drying, Deb's sister Zoe and her daughter Louise came round. They had been out for a walk in the sun and came to nab a drink. I'm so glad they did, I had a really enjoyable afternoon watching a 15month old toddling round, falling alot, babbaling away and generaly being cute and funny... How the hell am I supposed to destroy myself when this is going on in my kitchen!?!? The best had to be her rummaging through the draws, finding a sive (or however it's spelt) and promply mauling it... she looked like a fencer! I then walked them back home with promise of a cuppa and a chance to catch up with her husband Phil... Cue being round there for a few hours with me and Phil talking about consoles alot and him showing me his PS3 to which I kindly pointed out all its flaws and that for the same money as it would have cost me to get one, I got a Wii, a Halo edition 360 and games for them.... It was all good banter though, plus he's a sony boy through and through (his words were if it's not got Gran Turismo... I'm not interested..) Benten would have been proud at my Sega supporting and Sony bashing! To top it all, we were talking about old games and me being a huge Doom fan and I mentioned about not having played Quake and how I really wanted to get hold of it as Trent Reznor did the music and sound for it... Bless her, Zoe then said "on its way".. She found Quake 1 & 2 on Ebay and had ordered it for me. They rule! After that, I left them to have some dinner and headed home. I spent the evening watching Harry Hill on YouTube and meandering round on here and have to say, feeling a little better about things... How long that'll last I don't know... ah well, just make the most of it...

I think I may have to play a bit more of Sonic on 360 (bought in the week, under a tenner), it reminds me of Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast, but I have to say I think I prefer the Sonic on Wii. That said I'll always go for the Megadrive and MegaCD ones (Geek Warning) now tell me if I'm missing any, but I have Sonic, Sonic 2 and Sonic Chaos on Master System, Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles & Sonic Spinball on Megadrive, Sonic CD on MegaCD, Sonic Jam & Sonic 3D Flickys Island on Saturn and Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast.
As I wrote that out I just thought of some I dont have (excluding the Game Gear ones as I don't yet have one) being Sonic 3D on Megadrive, Knuckles Chaotix on 32X, Sonic R on Saturn and Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast (but do have that on Gamecube.... Still feels wrong playing Sonic on a Nintendo... I also seem to have the Mega Collection (GC) & Mega Collection + (XB) I avoided Sonic Heroes (but did rent it for one night to get a save game to unlock a game on the SMC+) and am always on the lookout for a bargin priced Sonic Gems on PS2.... but anything sonic pre & including Dreamcast that I've not mentioned, if anyone knows... please tell me

OK, really am going now.... 5am.... Bah...

Morning all
