This is not a manifesto. Nor is it a credo. This is not a document by which to live your life. This is not a bill, a legislature, or an edict from any of the Gods and Goddesses you believe in.
This is a declaration from someone in the up-and-coming generation. It is not supposed to be taken as the opinion of the whole, but it is the opinion of some. It does not represent us completely, but it represents some things we believe. It is made without malice, without spite, without hatred.... but with much anger and sadness.

We were born into a world divided and crystallized. We awoke to childhoods in which we could not be certain of our own safety in our own neighbourhoods. We came of age with more choices and more paths of purity and destruction than our parents ever dreamed of. We were bombarded on all sides by images, words, credos, pundits, politicians, rock stars, celebrity pets and mindless pop culture. We basked in radiation our entire lives, be it cathode, FM/AM, satellite transmission, nuclear or cellular. We lived in a world already polluted, never knowing the joys of perfectly clean, unsullied spaces. We saw on TV children our age starving, being bombed, being forced into slavery.
We watched as politicians, the moral majority, interest groups, minority watches, and corporates continued to pick like carrion feeders at the bones of the ideologies and perfect systems you created, so static and unmovable that they collapsed inward on themselves. Communism, Capitalism, Liberalism, Conservatism, Anarchism, Pacifism, Libertarianism, Facism... all of them collapsed and continue to collapse, even as you try to build them up, their foundations built upon unsolid ground. You seek to create static systems in a changing world, it can only end in failure.
We were born into marketplaces, not communities. We grew up in neighbourhoods where everyone was afraid of their neighbours, lines drawn wherever they could.
We have been lied to by every side, by our parents, by television, by our teachers, our religious leaders, even our friends. We have never heard full truth come from anyone, not even ourselves. Perhaps until now.
We are products of this world, products of your societies and rules and governments and markets. We control our own outcomes, but to deny the past has no impact on the future is ignorant.
We come to you with a message. Nothing more, nothing less.


We are no longer children.

No one in this world stays innocent for long. We have seen everything you have offered us, war, peace, free markets, liberation of the working class, utopias and dystopias......
And we reject it. We accept none of the above. Fuck Money, Fuck Government, Fuck The Popular Struggle, Fuck Patriotism, Nihilism, Apathy, Voting.....
Your choices still live in an old world, a world of black and white, of us and them, of heroes vs. villains.
We want communities in which we can live, and sustain long-term. We want not freedom, not security, but choices and consequences. We suffer under no delusions of utopia. We realize this world is not perfect and can never be, but we will try to make it as good as it can.
We realize also that no one system of economy or politic works for everything. We bring all systems together and apply them as best we see fit. Each has its strengths and weaknesses and must be used accordingly.
We want no governments which are not of the people, by the people, for the people. We have seen the placebos of Partisan and Parliamentary "Democracies" and realize that they are anything but. We know the only sustainable type of decision-making involves the people. We understand that this system has its own problems and we will address them as we can.
We want all peoples, everywhere, to be recognized as equally important, with no preconceptions based on skin colour, sexuality, religiosity, political alignment, culture, nationality, occupation, income, resources, IQ points, or lifestyle preferences. We are all in this world together, there is no Us vs. Them.
We ask not that you understand us, or even agree. We ask that you recognize our ideas are valid, and that we will one day take your place, and our solutions, while radical, may work.
If you do not bend with the wave, the wave will break you.
