After a hard day's work, smoke a joint, drink half a beer, and listen to Bill Frisell's "Del Close". You'll thank me later. But before you do, finish that beer. Or fruit juice if you don't drink. (Or whatever the hell it is you drink. You know. I haven't got time to write down everyone's favorite drink.)
Good news from work: I'm going on Full Time. Every day we're open I'm supposed to go in. My boss Amanda told me. So there.
I had the snowboard from hell today. It was a really old K2 board from '91 I think, but someone hadn't cleaned it off properly before its last wax(which looked to be just barely newer than the board, and the edges were more bur than edge. It took me from 2-4 just to clean it and do one edge, then I went home and had lunch, then it took me from 5-6 to do the other edge. Then I still had to wax it. Goddamn. I slipped and cut myself 3 times. Hooray for tetanus. Compared to that thing, snowblades were a frigging wet dream.
On the plus side, my buddy Travis who's a boxer is having a huge kicker next week, and Im invited. Time for drinky drinky.

I hate days like that. i had a project at work the other day (i'm a metal smith) that took my five and a half hours to finish. My boss always says "quality over quanity", but that's only if he doesn't have to see the amount of work somethings take. Spending most of the day on one thing is always rough, until you finish it.
