So I'm back... sorta. I've moved into a new flat. Long story short, I wasn't getting on with my flatmates, lots of tension in the house, I moved. It was nice. New flat is fantastic, tho my room is a bit small!!
I have to tell one thing, and that is: I went to my friend's party with my girlfriend Ali and my two flatmates, Helen and Paula aka Scoot(whom are also girls) on Good Friday. It was actually a crap party, but we made the best of it as we could. Unfortunately, Helen conked out early, which was odd. Then Ali started acting strangely, first passing out for a few seconds, then having panic attacks and crying. It was obvious she was freaking out, so with much work I cabbed us back to my house where she slept. And apparently after this, Scoot had the same problem. They are all showing similar symptoms now too, with their hangovers(which they never get!) the symptoms which include headaches, amnesia, sickness, and loss of motor control, are all signs of... you guessed it, rohypnol. We are not pleased. Luckily they all had someone to look after them, and a place to lock themselves away for the night. Ali remembers nothing after a certain point in the party, and Helen and Scoot's memories are fuzzy.... but no one got raped or hurt, thank god... so we are going to get blood tests, if we can, in time. But no one got raped, and there's no way we can catch who did it, just let our friends know and hope they listen.
I still work at starbucks, and enjoy it, sadly. I'm actually impressed with the ends they go to with regards to fair trade coffee, tho it seems quite common here that if you don't have fair trade coffee, no one will like you and your coffee shop will die. Unless you are a local coffee shop who cannot afford to alway buy fair trade coffee. I'm interested to know if most of this Starbucks ethical purchasing shit is true or not.
Saw Murder By Death and Against Me! a little while ago. MBD was savage, ripped it up completely, and Against Me! had their usual jolly energy, but it wasn't the same with a barrier and bouncers.... really. And they were trying to get people to come up on stage, especially at the end(which is what they usually do), but people just couldn't get past the bouncers, which made me sad.
