Imagine, if you will, someone who read only Readers Digest between 1950 and 1970, and someone in the same period who read only The Nation or The New Statesman. Fixed the radiator last month (which was pretty damn easy), and now the alternator goes out So now I have a battery-powered car which I have to constantly recharge. At least I hope it's not the alternator. I'm going to test the circuits and check the wiring to see if anything came loose when I pulled the radiator. If I'm lucky, that's all it is.
