That was kind of interesting. Talked to the owner of my old work today. When his junior partner came down to check out the yard in Anchorage, my ex-supervisor was waiting for him with 5 legal sheets of complaints and grievances about him and the operation. Just berated him non-stop until J. just couldn't take it anymore. J. just got up and walked out the door, got in his car, and took off. You dont know how many times I wanted to do that. That guy was just too much, a real brat. He complained about EVERYTHING, he constantly said he was just too good for this company, and he often displayed somewhat scary mood swings. So glad I'll never see him again.
So we talked about my coming back, but I'm not so sure I want to come back. It's pretty clear the business is going to fail, but the appreciation of the land and how they've developed it, they probably wont lose money overall.
