bittersweet news indeed
today i made an offer on this house. it means i need to give up my pacifica pad. i spent most the night crying because pacifica is my home, it holds so many wonderful memories, and that's where my dearest friends are.... but it makes no financial/well-being sense to hold onto something that I visit 5, 6 times a year and living in a hell-hole here in nyc.
it's upstate in a lake community, so there's six beaches for the pooch and i to play.. and a doggie daycare (that will accept her) just down the road... i guess it'll take some getting used to beach life 5 months out of the year instead of the 12 months that i'm used to, sigh. i'll take the hudson mta line into work a couple of times a week. Most of my friends that i've made here are have apts in the city but weekend country homes in upper dutchess county. So I'll be near them, sorta. But here are the pretty pictures of my hopefully soon-to-be home. You have NO idea how hard it was to find a "california" style home in NY. Everything was icky icky colonials/raised ranches
^^ miss hannah the sweet ol' dog that goes so well with the decor: not included..
so tomahto and letigre YOU guys are gonna have to pick up the slack of my bicoastallessness. i'll keep the bisexual, bipolarness.... *not* gonna give that up!

I didn't know you were in NYC. I totally would have crapped my pants if I had run into you.
Is there a fence on the backyard?
