I have less classes that require reading this semester, but for some reason it seems that my reading load is larger. Maybe it is just the subjects?

I do know that two of my classes have 0 books to buy for because the profs assume that as as English majors we should have our own literature at home or have the skills to get it quick. I have been ordering books of poetry with the money I would have used there.

I just had some crazy dreams. Zombie dogs, birds flying through a beautiful sky and reversing direction on my command, my best friend working at Safeway while I was there surfing the internet...

The weather here has been great. No wind, temps in the 40*F range in the daytime, around 0*F at night...

I have a poem in my head that mentions Ginberg's cock in the first couple of lines... And I have a writing exercise where I have to write a structured poem about a famous painting, but focus on one minute detail that nobody else may see. That is supposed to be the epiphany or ah-ha! moment in the work. I am going to do it on Picasso's Guernica....
