Salmonellaville!

Yeah, this has been crazy. In Alamosa there has been an outbreak of Salmonella. It is being blamed on the water system and has even made the national news. Very confusing situation with a ton of misinformation and speculation. I spent Easter Sunday as a volunteer walking the town handing out pamphlets to describe the flushing of the system and what it means.
Today they start flushing out the system, which means public schools are closed for four days and my classes are canceled Wed-Fri. Yes, all this will be added to the end of the year for both of us.
I live in East Alamosa, seperate water system than City of Alamosa, so I am ok here. But man, this is devastating to such a small town (8500).

Im off to Pizza Express with a friend tonight for her birthday- followed by lots of drinks! We get paid tomorrow so were gonna hit the bank machines at 12am tehe
