Putting aside all my dramas atm as that ship will either sink or swim because if I invest more time in that I am not living my own life. So I'll ride out this storm and see where I land.... As analogies go the ship one is pretty bad I apologise.

Moving on however *clears throat* What I have brought you all here was more of the idea that's been running around my head but it doesn't have a lot of action behind it mostly because I have no idea how to start it
The idea itself is quite simple, a pop culture night where nerds alike can come watch something fitting on the big screen, nerd out with their mates and new friends, see some attractive people in cosplay (maybe serving drinks), playing some games in the back but most of all not being judged by their interests even if they fall on the slightly darker side (I've heard some of the kink community would also enjoy this as well).
From you guys I would like some ideas, like things that may spike your interest to maybe attending, music you would like to listen to, games you would like to play (any console but must be multiplayer) , if you would want each event as a different movie/series/Anime theme or to keep it basic.

Once I have more ideas with this I might be able to put down something onto paper and start to get an estimate of when I can actually host it.

Any ideas, suggestions or praise is greatly appreciated and I won't forget the help you send!

That sounds awesome! Can't go past party games with multiplayer like Mario Kart or a shooter like Goldeneye. I guess people like Halo and COD and shit.. I'm really bad at those. And Guitar Hero! But yeah making a movie or something the main attraction with other activities around maybe. Keep it simple and change it each time otherwise it just becomes a free-for-all.

That's what I was thinking @i_am_ghost makes more sense to change the focus every event. But I need more than games at one end and movie/series at the other. Should I have a trivia paper that only valid until a certain time? Or keep the first one simple and have a 'tell us what you think' paper to get actual reviews?
