It's quite a feat when you see one really great film, let alone two in a row. Well, such was my luck this last week, as I finally got back to the movies after a short break from it (I swear Billy Wilder and the rest of the movie Gods, it won't happen again!!!). But first off, was "The Departed."

Wow, what a fantastic film. Marty's back with a vengence with this one. Forget that his last couple of films have been flimsy at best (nonetheless, great performances within though: "Aviator" may have been slightly plotting, but Cate Blanchett was more than fierce, and "Gangs" was slightly crappy, but Daniel Day Lewis's Bill the Butcher was one of the best villians of all time, period). But in this, not only is DiCaprio, Damon, and Nicholson fantastic, so is the film! Yeah, it's a good-in'.
Then, we have Michel Gondry.

"The Science of Sleep" is like all of the kooky part of "Eternal Sunshine" mixed with a warm, odd romantic center, and old school effects. The results are dizzying. It's so beautiful, funny, and original. You must, must, must see it. It's well worth your time, even if you don't love all of it. You'll love a lot of it.
And nowwww.....PLUG TIME!!!
I'm in a new play called, "The Sinister Urge," which is a comedic take on the "not so classic" Ed Wood film. We're in rehearsals now, and will open up right after Thanksgiving for almost a month long run. I'll give more details as we go, but sooner than that is....my film premiere!!!
My newest film, "Surrender," is a short horror film that will be playing with five others in a feature entitled, "The Sinister Six." This all happens on:
Date: Sunday, Oct. 29th, 2006
Time: 7:30pm
Location: The Anthology Film Archives, 2nd Street and 2nd Ave., NYC
Tickets: $6.00 (at the door)
It's gonna be a cool, fun night, and the cast, crew, and myself will all be there, so you should be too!!!
