Saw "ThreePenny Opera" last night and it was....AMAZING! I really loved how they've updated it, made it veeerrryyyy different, and the cast was amazing. Alan Cumming was a rock star, Nellie McKay & Jim Dale were hilarious, Cyndi Lauper was very good (a little weak in some straight acting scenes, but a hellava presence), and Ana Gasteyer has an amazing voice! And afterwards, we got to meet the cast and not since the original cast of RENT have I met a group of people so sincere and gracious... Here's a couple of photos:



Possibly the cutest picture EVER of me and Nellie. If you haven't picked up her album "Get Away From Me," do so immediately. So original... When Jim Dale came out of the theatre, she goes, "Oh, hey...funny running into you here....So, you in this piece of shit show?" She's so awesome...



Me and Alan doing the "EXACT" same face, completely unplanned. He's so cool. And I've got comments before on how I look similar to him, but shiza! Look at that pic! We're sooo related!

In other news, my apartment is hotter than balls, and sweatier than a gym coach. The A/C fairy is on her way, just not sure how long she'll be. Damn bitch...she better get here soon....
