I'm glad to hear you're holding up well. When I've been in situations like that, sometimes the anger shows up and surprises me well after I think it's gone. But you're right: The drinking can help. And the cursing always does.
I was worried that Darnielle might lose something by expanding his sound--strings, etc. But no chance--that's a great record.
Have you seen the Montmartre exhibit at the National Gallery yet?
no children is gorgeous, definitely one of my top five mountain goats favorites. I'm sorry I didn't go; no money and not really in the mood for socializing lately. going through one of my MOODS, better for everyone if I keep holed up in the house.
Right now I want to be in a secret laboratory having my brain transplanted into an indestructable android body that flies and shoots lasers from it's eyes. I think that would give me a tremendous sense of well being.

I have a great number of their cds (re earlier records: I cannot stand hearing that woman's voice along with this - it makes it seem so tainted! it just doesn't work for me at all), including a signed copy of one of their cds that a friend sent me from NY, knowing that they're one of my favorite bands EVAH
though I don't want to see you go, if you really want to get rid of your account, you can go to "preferences", and in the grey column on the left, choose "I want to be anonymous". it keeps others from seeing your into, without actually killing the account.
1. I'd rather have sex with Mr. Furley.
2. If I had to dress like a girl I'd wear a sweater and a poodle skirt. (I really have no idea)
3. I'd like my Christmas present before, if possible.
I recommend:
1. Bodyguard from Beijing
2. In the Belly of the Beast by Jack Henry Abbott
3. "Replicas" by Tubeway Army
