Oh man today has been awesome!!!
first of all I put my name for the open position which would get me more money at work. So far from the people I know putting their name in and I am probably the most qualified. Oh man, I am hoping to get it!
The other reason I am having an awesome day is... THIS!
I first started listening to this cd and it starts off really eerie! and then the guitars kick in and then BAM... the vocals hit and it was the deepest most eerie growl I have ever heard! I then started reading the lyrics to see what it was all about(while listening along) and I get the impression that this wasn't just a themed release. It was a conceptual album, or more like a musical adaptation of Herman Mellville's Moby Dick! The music, the lyrics, the eerie synthesizers all make you feel like the story. Sometimes calming, sometimes rough like the monster/great white whale or a storming sea! The bands debut release has left me wanting to hear more from this band! Seriously if you are a doom metal fan I recomend you get this! This is by far the best doom release of the year!
