Someone pointed something out to me the other day. He and I were talking about our tattoos and he made it clear to me that 90% of my tattoos were symbols of power...
The Dragon= Power thru wisdom
The Griffon= Power thru absolution
The Masks= Power thru fear
The Runes= They are the runes of Warrior and Protection
The Eagle over the Skull and Crossbones= It has a banner in it saying "Death Before Dishonor"... It's traditional piece... and the Eagle looks quite Roman... It's definatly a powerful piece, small tho, but powerful...
Then there is my Coi... I love my coi... It's my symbol for pece and tranquility...
Q: Is there a recurring theme in your tattoos?

Yep. All my tattoos are of a Goddess-y nature. My mermaid represents the Ocean Mother. My two peacocks represent the male aspect of the Goddess (plus, they are just big femmy show-offs!). And the Goddess over my heart with the triple moon and pentagram, well, pretty self-explanatory!
