Oh my days (as the kids say). After having no plans for my birthday I ended up drinking with friends most of the afternoon, then going to a squat party in a disused office building round Old Street, where I ended up DJing until about 6 in the morning. How glad am I that I didn't have to work today.
This should be my first week of teaching again, but fortunately I'm only a supply teacher for now and most schools are on training days today and tomorrow. I'm in two minds about the whole thing: 1) I hope the work is regular so I earn a decent wage; 2) I'm scared of being thrown into a new class of kids every day. Why can't I earn money sitting around all day or playing and making music?
