Today I had a fun in the sun day with my mom. We bought a slip and slide and played on it well she tried and was having a hard time sliding. Me on the other hand I was covered in suntan oil so I would slide all the way down and then right off the damn thing.

it was crazy sunny over here too. we've had sort of a grim long winter and the last few days have just been crazy hot.
spent a lot of yesterday wandering around the city shopping (mostly window shopping if i'm honest) and people-watching while eating ice cream - just one of those chilled out early summer afternoons where you completely relax. . it was lovely
so are good pancakes. i tend to just have a disaster everytime i try to make them, usually when it comes to flipping the damn things

This weekend I was attacked by mosquitoes and now my legs are all bumpy and itchy. I picked up some garlic pills hoping that will prevent anymore.

I could not resist the mosquito angle...Having worked with them, the garlic thing is a toss-up...let me know if it works..I have my doubts... ...On the other hand, smoke does work...A bit extreme to burn down your house though...The bottom line????...Nasty smelling repellent that contains carcinigens work very well..DEET...or Avon Skin-so-Soft...not that SSS has anything bad in it...just that it works...no one knows why....

Today is one of those days were you step outside and become joyful. Its sunny and warm but there is a cool breeze that is refreshing. My garden is growing nicely the rabbits and birds have not destroyed it ... yet.
