In case anyone actually reads my journal entries...

I've been really sick for the past week or so puke ... so I've kinda neglected my journal entries.
I hope all my favorites are doing well.
Love to all.

Ugh... I feel like I got hit by a truck. frown Maybe I'm coming down with something since the weather's been flip-flopping around lately. Nothing I've been taking today has been making me feel better. Hopefully I'll feel better enough later to go get some different medicine.

I got hit by a truck once. I know it's hard to believe.

But I did.

Anyhow. As for the sign "Please Don't Pee Here,"
haha pee there?

one halloween I was driving down in this ghetto area near the coconut grove down here.. and as i cruised by this one shop, there was a sign on the gate that said "please don't pee here"

i assume in that area of town it's proper to pee on gates and such. ahahha go figure.

11 days to Christmas and it's 65 degrees here. A couple of days ago, it was freezing.
Stupid Texas weather. At least be consistent. tongue

I had the "BEST" DK jacket many years ago. It was a vintage trench coat and my friend painted the DK logo on the back...it was my FAVORITE piece of clothing...It looked great with docs, it looked great with EVERYTHING!!!

Then a few years later, I moved out of my parent's house. And I didn't move all my stuff out in a timely matter so they donated what was left, including my DK trench coat!! I have never fully recovered.

babybeezer:
aw, thanks man (she says while blushing furiously).

The "hood" is the little flap of skin that covers the clitoris. Check out December's set, cause she's got a hood pierce that looks just like mine. They're super cute.

I am convinced, and have been for years now, that all the good women are taken (or they sure as hell aren't here). confused
All the ones that aren't taken have apparently let their brains bake in the Texas sun a little too long; their elevators no longer go to the top. You can tell why they're not taken.
I wrote a little song about it,...

Well, because of the water debacle earlier, I hadn't eaten since this morning. So I decided to just drive through some place close.
When I got to the front gate, I saw my apartment complex's manager and a few kids standing on the sidewalk near the street oustide of the gate, along with some guy apparently trying to be dressed as Frosty The Snowman.
Now,...

Quinne, I would be in Heaven if you lived in Texas. :-) You'll have someone to show you around town if you ever grace this state, though! wink

There's just something wrong with not having any hot water in December.
I took a shower late last night because we had no water all day... something about another water pipe break (oddly enough, that happens fairly frequently around here)... and there was like zero hot water. None. It wasn't "a little warm then turned cold," it was just fucking freezing. And today we still...

Good advice, Echo. smile I hope it doesn't come to that.
I finally got impatient enough to call the office. Of course nobody else is having problems. *smirk* They're going to send a maintenance dude to come check out my heater. Hopefully soon. I don't feel like having blue hands after taking a shower again.
stevesod:
Well, an hour or so later, the maintenance guy showed up. He said that the element in my heater had burned out, and that usually when the water goes out like that, he'll go into the apartments and turn off the heater breakers so they don't have problems when the water comes back on; but that this time, he knew some of the elements in some of the apartments were fixing to go out, so he decided to leave the breakers on and change the elements if they burned out. (is it just me, or could this be read as "he let it happen?") Well, an hour or so after he changed the element, I got hot water again. Yay! Almost 2 days without hot water.
