Gray Matter "Take It Back" and "Food For Thought" LP Re-Issues
10.15.09 On November 24th Dischord re-issued Gray Matter's second album, Take It Back. This new edition has been expanded into a full-length LP (on colored vinyl) with 4 extra tracks from the band's 1991 double seven inch and will feature an MP3 download. Take It Back was first issued as a six song EP in the direct aftermath of the "Revolution Summer" renaissance of the DC punk scene in 1985. Although the songs are available on a Maxi-CD, the vinyl fell out of print long ago.
Gray Matter's first album, Food For Thought, was re-issued (on colored vinyl) in October and is available now.
