ok so i watched big fish today.... twice in the end i was so impressed
an amazing film.... truly amazing
i dont know whats worse....
have i never met my girl in the river.... or.... have i but let her swim away...
the thing i took from that film was...
life is what you make it... literally....
everyone says it.... but how many truly understand the meaning of that statement....
but...
when i watched big fish for the second time.... on top of the obvious messages of each story, or anecdotes, of the fathers life, there are some amazing lessons to be learnt from that film, to clever to have been accidental.
if you watch the film, i mean really watch the film, it is such a clever film on so many levels, there is so much to be taken from it. for instance, the losing of the key to the city... they make a point of it but never explain what the point is or its significance.... but there is one, and a great one at that... and the film is laced with hidden meaning like that.... for those willing to look
is probably tim burtons greatest piece of work for its messages... although i wonder how much of its deeper layers were his doing, or maybe the writers...
anyway, if you've not seen it i highly recommend it, and if you have, watch it again, the less obvious is far more important than whats presented
and finally
cover 13...
