This might have to be my favorite holiday. Brews and blowing shit up!!! And you cook all of your meals over fire, what more can you want?

I don't think its too much to ask for for something to go right for me.
I had yet another dismal show that not a lot of people came to. Better than last week, but I once again lost money. I did get to meet a crew of awesome guys from Massachusetts. But even with a local band, the show was stinky. The scene sucks....

the music scene is tough around here. I don't even know what kind of music Dead & Dishonest plays.. I'll have to try and make it to a show one of these days.

well, things are going alright. But tonight the sad shit starts. Its going to be rough, but there's lots of family around.
I've been off work since Monday and won't go back until next Wednesday. Its nice being off, but I'd rather be in Florida.
Sun's out. No rain. My nephew will be over in a few. We've been bonding lately. He's a cute kid....

have I mentioned how awesome soy ice cream is? It is. I think its called Simply Decadent and is awesome. Cherry Nirvana is good.
Some old friends of mine from Laramie Wyoming are playing in town tomorrow night. They are in a new band called Teenage Bottlerocket and I cannot wait to see them. They are ex-Lillingtons, which also was a great band.
