hope ya'll had a nice thanksgiving. I had a pretty good one, different but good. I say different because my grandfather is currently in a nursing home for rehab on his legs. He's doing well though, which is fantastic. He's still got his sense of humor and his will to get the hell out of there ASAP. Anyway, that was a side note... We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the nursing home, which was nice we could do that. They were able to give us a room and everything so we could have a big table and bring everything down...it was really good to be able to spend the holiday with everyone...not just everyone minus my grandfather. He ate really well too, which is fantastic.
so, the more I think about it, the more Thanksgiving is becoming my favorite holiday. It seems that it's one of the last big holidays that still holds it's meaning. Hopefully corporate america will leave it the hell alone so we don't have to start bringing presents to Thanksgiving. rediculous I tell you...
anyway, that was my rant...anyone else care to rant as well??

I think you had a great Thanksgiving. The way I look at it though, whether a holiday retains its true meaning doesn't depend on the holiday but on the people celebrating it... and as we all know most people take direction from TV, ads and whatever other stupid source, so they lose sight of what matters... That was my rant
