Holy crap another week went by!!!
I was really busy at work last week, so I would come home and just end up crashing most the time. Thursday though was the Machine Head show here in Philly. It was awesome. I saw them years ago for the Burning Red tour, and they amazed me how good they were. Not only that, the crowd reaction was amazing. I think the entire building was one giant mosh pit. It was at a smaller venue this time, but the people were just as crazy. Most the floor was a giant pit, as I was upstairs in the balconey/bar watching the carnage. Good stuff. And it amazed me, there was this girl, in a baseball t-shirt and khaki skorts in the pit the entire time! She was singing along, keeping up with the big guys. And then next thing I know, the shirt if off and she's in a sports bra still in the pit! My metal horns were up to her that night. \m/
The weekend was nice, got to see my cousin's kids (one was 2 in september, the other is just 2 weeks!) who were up from Virginia. I love to see them, cause I'm an only, so it's almost like my little neice and nephew. I dream to be Uncle TJ one day, lol. Sunday night was Karaoke contest finals, which some friends were in. They did well, should have won something but didn't. And a friend who I must admit I have quite the crush on was there, and I'm pretty damn sure she likes me too, but there's nothing I can do about it considering I have a g/f of almost 5 years. Not that I'm complaining about that, I just feel so guilty about it in so many ways I make myself crazy sometimes. It was her birthday today, so she was drinkin up and a cake was had at midnight. It was a good time, except for the cigarette smoke. I was congested and blowing my nose all day today because of it, blah.
Well, since I haven't been here in a while, off to make my eyes explode, aka catch up on sets
