Well happy Valentine's day to you all, or anti-Valentine's day, depending on which you're celebrating. I've been in both departments, so had to extend it to everyone.
First I must say how much I hate people sometimes. Thursday night, my g/f and I went to see Ours at a Philly bar. Now this is one of my favorite bands, and hers as well. They are absolutly amazing live, and would recommend their cds and live show to almost anyone. On that note, I found it hard to believe that there were so many people talking DURING their set. Now they were the headliners, which meant we all paid $12 to get to see. Sure, I'm all for having a good time at a show, talk to your friends, etc. But if a substantial conversation can't wait until later, do it at the bar (they're sort of seperate). They were just so incredibly rude, to the band and the fans around them. I wanted to shove one of my boots in their mouth and the other in their arse. They still put on an excellent show, played for an hour and a half and some new songs, despite the rude patrol. I guess I'm just too much of an audiophile to let it go, but it bothers me!ARG
Ahh venting. Start off to a great weekend though, did that, last night went to a friend's community theater play. (Guys and Dolls, she was amazing as Adalide, and now I randomly break out in the chorus of "Luck Be A Lady" damnit!) and tonight, well it's relaxing lay around with g/f v-day, as we already celebrated. Rock and Roll!!!!
Damn I typed a lot more than I thought I would

I hate rude people too. I had a recent experience at the movie theatre. Isn't it always at the movie theatre??? LOL. Anyway, this guy behind us was on his fukking cell phone having a fight with who I assume was his girlfriend. It was so annoying especially hearing him say like a thousand fukking times "[insert name of girl here] I am going to hang up on you!" I wanted to turn around and slap that phone shut for him.
Re: girlfriend. It may be best to give her the space she needs. Especially if you want to settle down before she does. You may even have different interests. Talk about them. I sound very similar to her. I'd rather move to Cali and hang out for a bit before settling down (if I ever even want to do that). But the difference is that you actually know about it but my bf does not.
