So what has been happening in Ian's life, I hear you say?
Well Saturday was the first time in ages that I've had nothing to do it seems. I monged around the house in my jogging bottoms, tidying and cleaning the kitchen. Washed my clothes. Even had a two hour nap in the afternoon. Nice and relaxing, just what I needed.
Sunday I got up early and took the train back to my dads. Met my sister at Waterloo on her return from her boyfriends. Popped to see one set of grandparents, then went to my other nan's 80th birthday party! Saw family members I hadn't seen in years!
Anyway I spent a couple of hours there before taking the train back into London. Stopped off in Covent Garden for drinks with friends and to my suprise Doplex had discovered this in the People newspaper that day...

hehe click on it for a larger verision! Zoeeeeee was a bit pissed off it only mentioned my name
Plus there was a bit of artisitic licence in the write up, they printed the size and weight of it... none of which were measured by me!
I've been working earlies ever since the terrorist arrests in London, 5am starts so far but from tomorrow I'll be starting at 4am. Marvellous. However, I might also be working the weekend which would mess up my social plans for Saturday night, but tripple pay is on offer... yes please.
I must say... I bloody love The Strokes
I also love...

The album is blooming marvelous I tell thee. And if you haven't got anything good to say about them, don't. I know they sound like Led Zep and The White Stripes but still, I like the songs. It's not an issue that some of the songs sound slightly familiar. If you like them, you like them. And I like them, the whole album makes me smile.
I watched the mileage counter on my car today flick from 49999 miles to 50000. That's quite a distance. The equivalent of driving around the WORLD twice!!
