So at the weekend I went camping in Climping with SGUK and had a smashing time! Got there late on the Friday and ended up pitching the tent in the dark. Oh and when we got there it was a bit of a suprise to find signs saying 'no camping'! We're such rule breakers! Half the group turned up that evening, the rest showed up on the Saturday!
Much fun was had, fuelled by alcohol on the whole! We did a BBQ both evenings which I got involved with and managed to burn everything to a nice shade of black! Below is me eating chicken...
After enough drink each evening we'd go swimming in the sea, or skinny dipping! We also went swimming in the morning to sober up and then swimming at lunchtime to cool down. The sea was SO cold but I really enjoyed swimming again. Although at one point something broke the surface in front of me and I got all scared and so swam back into the middle of the group for comfort!
Barny brought her fire poi, see pics below. Creamy is the starrie pic as I took it with my phone cam. The other is Barny who is awesome at it! I had a few goes on the Saturday night after half a bottle of vodka. I managed to singe my hair and burn my neck after hitting myself! The black mark on my neck doesn't wash off! Haha
Monday I turned 25! 25 and single, I've missed the boat! Think I might have a sex change and then become an old spinster who wears too much clothing in summer, keeps a house full of cats and rats and dogs and logs, get badgered by kids and then gets found in a chair, two years after having snuffed it.
*ahem* so anyway, I woke up shattered from the weekend but dragged myself into work. Last week I booked a bowling lane for 9pm which was looking like an eternity away. After work I went there with a couple of good friends and had a couple of drinks. Thankfully we managed to bring the bowling forward to 730pm as it wasn't packed.
Tim bowled at some pace and ran away with the first game, however I managed to pip him to the second two although I think the fact that I kept saying 'it's my birthday don't forget' might have had something to do with it!
Today I went to see Nutz after work to get tattooed....
...and I'll take a pic of it when it's healed up!
Jackie had bought me some little chocolates
And she made me a cup of tea 
Every time I go in there I keep pondering the thought of getting an ear piercing :|
Oh AND my custard cream was shown on Gordon Ramsay's The F Word on television! hehe I was gobsmacked when it was on there! So many friends saw it too! My claim to fame
Oh and a catering journalist is ringing me tomorrow wanting to do a piece on it hehe
