So, sometime in the early morning hours of Saturday, I lit myself a nice fat spliff and watched Baraka again. It's an incredibly beautiful and fulfilling film and I recommend it to anyone with an appreciation for natural beauty and spirituality. With war looming on the horizon and the world getting more fucked up by the day, it's a wonder to see places seemingly untouched by it all, places of peace. If you're feeling alienated and out of tune with the madness around you, step back, take a breath and watch this film.
