4th day on the road. We had 3 shows and they were really amazing.
The second night, in Albuquerque, I really had a great time, before, during and after the show. I went to the same venue last December with Oghrs band. The venue was pretty but the stage very little, the sound was amazing.
The venue is located on the famous route 66, and I saw bikers driving on it. Its amazing to see things happening in front of my eyes that before I was able only to imagine.
We have had hotel rooms very close to the club, and rooms were so beautiful and the bed very very comfortable
I wore high heeled boots and I was scared of falling down during the show, but this didnt happen, fortunately, and I wish it will not happen for the next concerts.
Pepper, the other Bomb Gang Girl is so sweet. Shes not a diva with me, and shes always trying to make me feel comfortable with the band, the songs, the dance and the stage.
Shes very smart, we have had fun moments and we laugh about silly things as girls normally do. This might be normal for you, but for me, with my language limits and my embarrassment its something very special.
The day after we drove to El Paso, the venue (Club 101) is very big, but not so many people were there.
It was very difficult for me to perform, because I wore the wrong kind of shoes, I was not able to dance and again not able to hear my voice in the monitor.
But everything that happens helps me each day to learn new things:
1- the right kind of shoes to wear to be on the stage;
2- the sound check is the right moment to say that something might be wrong in my monitor or that Im not able to hear myself;
3- I have to check the space on the stage in which I can move and my mic cable and things like that!
Now we are driving to Austin, but we will stop before for the night in the middle of nowhere in Texas, in a place called Devils River . Today its a driving day without show.
I can see Mexico outside the window.
Theres a big border that divide the States from Mexico.
Im trying to imagine Mexican people walking this line illegally, but it would be a very hard walk for them, theres only desert. Is that border electrified? I dont know, I will ask someone if I will remember.
We are just driving across two little dust tornados, its my first time to see something like that!
I feel like a child having the first experiences in the world.
Its a wonderful feeling.
The crew is great.
We are 8 people: Buzz and Groovie, the leaders of the band; Justin, the best drummer in the world and my love; Pepper Sommerset, the smokin Bomb Gang Girl; Ray, Groovies stylist and the merch seller, he has a stylist shop in LA; Pat, a very fun and talented sound engineer from NY and me.
Now its time for me to finish my vodka and redbull and enjoy the view outside.
I dont want to lose another minute more, I need to see what there is outside, I need to imagine and I need to feel new emotions.
And the adventure continues!

oldernow:
in my opinion you're getting to see some of the best that America has to offer: wide open spaces and long highways. of course there's our dark and bad relations with mexico and mexicans going alongside. stupid paranoid Bush people!! ... and do watch out for snakes! mostly don't go near any you see. here's to better sound check and good dancin' shoes!
