this is my brother. hes now 22. he was 3 years old when he was diagnosed with diabetes. i have mentioned him in a previous journal entry. my brother means the world to me and i have spent a good part of my life working at charity dinners and events trying to raise money so someday he would know what it is like to live without this disease. i joined a local chapter in charge of fundraising and we have a charity dinner coming up in two weeks at ABC Home & Carpet. Part of my responsibility is to sell raffles to raise money. so, i have a huge favor to ask. im pretty much hitting up everyone i know to buy some raffles. they are $5 each or $20 for 6. i would normally never ask this but this is my brother who there isnt anything in the world i wouldnt do for him. i just figure if i can sell a few raffles here, it will add up to a nice number i can turn over and you might even win a cool prize in return!! i can send you my address to mail a check if you email me or if youre local, i can hand deliver. you have no idea how much this would mean to me. plus, its good for your karma!!!!
