well, the past week has been a bit insane for me. friday was the job loss day, which turned out to not be a loss in the end. my temp agency called me monday that they had an interview for me to go on tuesday (as in tomorrow). they called me on tuesday that they had an interview for friday (the one that just passed). then, they called me tuesday at 5pm that lifetime tv needed an emergency person for a project for wed thru friday. so, thats right, i was working for the menopause channel last week. i really enjoyed it. the people were wonderful, and the pay was higher than the law firm. in 3 days, i racked up 30 billable hours. thats always nice too. i went for an interview on friday walking out thinking there wasnt a chance in hell i got it, but i did. so i start working for united media tomorrow. they do all the licensing work for peanuts and dillbert and some other cartoon things. should be interesting. but i have an interview at 10am for another company, then go to this job. basically, its a buffet with so much food and a small plate. but im taking a bit of everything on my plate just to make sure it isnt empty.

after all the insanity, i got to enjoy my weekend. i got to hang out with illstabyou on friday night. seeing him happy always makes me happy. hes one of my favoritist people. and i got to see my best friend from home sat night which makes me even happier. plus, i had my boy with me all weekend and he really put a smile on my face - a few times.

all in all, life is good. and im just gonna sit back and enjoy it.
