well, just to let you know, I've been absent for a few due to prior commitments. Unfortunately, these will be carrying on for about another week. If I get a chance I will post something before then but I most likely will just be popping in to check to make sure everything is ok.
so sorry.
duty calls.

Worry not, m'man, everything is a-ok round these parts. biggrin

And being in the UK does not absolve you of your duty to watch The Wire. If you find yourself without something to inhabit your "telly" (heheh) you should see about renting (or downloading, with that mean machine you run) the first few episodes to check out.

Oh, and it sounds like you got quite the haul in birthday presents! I have no doubts you'll put them to good use. wink

Thanks to all for the kind wishes for my birthday! It was a whole lot of fun! biggrin

It began with a lovely lay-in until about 10 am, considering this damn cold I've been fighting for the past three weeks, it was heaven! When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by the cherub-like visages of my two children eagerly awaiting me; their cheshire-cat smiles told...

Note: We will return to our normally scheduled program after this short news break!

I have just had to reformat my system due to a hardware rebuild and usual two years of work and play sluggish response. Now that I have finally gotten it back to where I want it to be, all programs, themes, walls, etc., I realised I had forgotten to save my...

in keeping with the current theme, here is installment 2 of "the history of random precision"!

Jump to 4 years down the road and after flitting to and fro from major to major (Psychology, Biology, Forestry, etc.), while still trying to keep in the whole Animal Behavior theme. I needed to take a cross-cultural requisite in order to graduate, you know, the kind of shit...

Honestly, we should ALL have been born in Essex.

In essence, I was born in excess. In a Lexus. A Lexus that I wrecks-ess. blackeyed

Wow, raised by wolves to eat steak in Kentucky... I knew it would be a good story, but I was not ready for an epic! This gives me hope, too, that a poor boy raised by humans in Indy can one day emigrate to far off foreign lands, or, failing that, Guantanamo.

Feel better... it took me 3 weeks to shake that illness, but I am living proof that it can be done eventually... just send $19.99 to my P.O. box for your first installment of magic snake oil.

Breath is bated for part two...

I'm so sorry for the lapse again! It's too much fun playing with BABSv1a to take the time and post. frown wink

Once I've gotten my head around learning these new applications for "backing up" my dvd's and moving my videos to dvd I will begin to be back more!

I will probably be lurking if you really need to get in touch! biggrin

love

OK, I've been consistantly curious, so if you need a convenient SG distraction, I'd love to know the story of how you ended up in the UK. It's a trick I someday hope to pull off myself... maybe not England, per se, but I believe my escape from this continent to be inevitable at this point and I'm interested to learn how others have acheived this.

Luckily I'm in love with an Irish gypsy vagrant, so that probably helps my situation in this regard.

Anyway, cheers from the landlocked... hope the BABSv1a honeymoon is treating you kindly. smile

Sorry for the lapse again, my mother was visiting from the states for the holidays and is leaving in about an hour to go to Heathrow for her flight! (note the time of post! wink )

Other than the "family reunion for the past two weeks, I've finally got my system all up and running and would love to share the wonderul creation of BABs v1a...

And, dude, BABs there is frickin SWEET! Looks like something out of X-Files. I feel like a proud godfather. I'll have to go get some "It's a Computer!" themed cigars. smile

Hey!

My best friend got a computer earlier this year and the case is almost exactly like yours! That blue light with the clear sides and the big blue laser-beam type light on the front? That thing is rad! Heheh, good score, buddy! biggrin Wish I had one of those myself.

happy new year!

Just thought I would pass on the joy for the new year! Let's all hope for a better one than this! wink

It has been good, but what couldn't be better? I personally think it will be as we no longer have a lot of financial responsibilities thanks to the sale of our flat, so there's a plus!

Hope the new year finda...

"Of course," he says, "we have no idea, now, of who or what the inhabitants of our future might be. In that sense, we have no future. Not in the sense that our grandparents had a future, or thought they did. Fully imagined cultural futures were the luxury of another day, one in which 'now' was of some greater duration. For us, of course, things...

Hello, my name is Random Precision, and I'm a SGholic. It's been 10 days since my last post and I'm so feeling the withdrawl! I swear it's not really my fault, really!!! it's all down to this damn holiday that is looking increasingly closer and closer! (That and we realised we never played GTA3 [not Vice City!] that our mate left here when he moved...

Thank you so much. That was just the sort of crit I was looking for. And if you have any more suggestions, pour forth!

I'm a really horrid webdesigner myself, and my site designer passed off the project to me recently, so advice is much appreciated
