One must always take the positives with the negatives. It works so much better when the two of them are close together. That they might cancel eachother out swiftly. Such is not the case, I have missed SGprom and the much fun that went with it. Unable to book the time off from work because of other large bookings later in the summer.
True, my week spent at the cottage will be much enjoyed, but it does not happen until the end of july. Leaving me to suffer the negative of missing happy times now.
Proper planning next time around methinks. Maybe a bit of luck with time spent in company and all.

im not too fond of the drive up. im sure once i get some money and can add some stuff (like a tv, a computer and comfortable furniture) il go up a little more.

i know making it all modern and stuff will make it not a cottage, but this is the 21st century, not the dark ages
