I speak of course of the progression. An acceleration of sorts, exponential in its ability to increase. The beginnings are simple enough. Humans as a semi-intelligent species have crafted for themselves a language. Within this language are specific terms and phrases for the expression of anger and distaste. Profanity in its many forms has been used creatively and uncreatively throughout the centuries, words have undoubtedly changed but the feeling behind them remains the same. At present there are some humans more skilled in the art of profanity than others, due in large part to practice.
With the next stage language becomes lost. While it may be possible to recognize some terminology within the grunts and facial expressions one highly doubts it. As the anger takes over the ability to express creatively disappears, the subject reverting to an earlier stage when grunts and gestures, the most of which are violent, replace any civilized action. Inanimate objects are the standard target for physical aggression as they are easier to target. Strength becomes an issue at this point because of the inanimate objects. Self inflicted injuries have been known to happen.
Although there is some argument as to which is the more dangerous of the final stages, like most things it depends on the subject.
Length of this third stage varies from person to person but all suffer the same symptoms. Where words and grunts were there is now only rage, choking the vocal cords of the subject. Violent outbursts are more directed, injury is still possible but the probability is lower, targets will be chosen from a more effective standpoint. Hot rages uniqueness comes from the effect it has on the subject; often raising surface temperatures and increasing blood flow to such an extent that the subject can turn red.
The final stage is deceptive in that the subject becomes visibly calmer. Cold rage is a ruthless state of being. Targets are no longer random and attacks are designed to inflict the highest amount of pain and suffering. Specific individuals are likely to be targeted, the source of the rage often becomes primary. Secondary targets can source from remembered pains to slight offences. Much of this stage is dependant on the subject; cold rage is active within the mind of the individual and will draw heavily on the mental faculties of the subject to complete its goals.
So.. who can guess how I was feeling this morning past. Hint 8 hour work shift that suddenly became 15 hour.
Its not easy for me to open up around people because Im so used to holding everything in.
