today i went to the docs to have one of my wounds as its been bleeding a bit earlier this week and today was the earliest i could get in.
anyway, she examines the scar that has been bothering me and tells me its fine, to leave it alone and go back if it turns red or starts swelling.
she then takes an interest in the scar next to it which still had a scab on it with some fluff stuck in it from when i cam out of hospital and told me i had a stitch still stuck in my leg from an operation i had 2 months ago and promptly donned a pair of gloves and pulled the 'stich' out. the part that was worrying me is it was in a new scar, it was a fresh hole made during my second operation and i had clips in all my scars after that one not stitches
somehow i gained a stitch in a wound 2 months after an operation when they didnt use stitches
and she is a general practitioner
