Well, nearly 2 months since I left these glorious pages and now I am back.
What has changed in two months I hear you cry (O.k. two people asked in passing). Well I now have a job, hence the reason why I am back, and for a whole year no less.
I am back doing labouring on construction sites. Its long arduous work, but it's work and money in my pocket each week. I am currently working for an agency. The rates are poor, but the work is consistent and bearable, mostly labouring for plaster firms. But I am sticking it out until something better comes along.
And yes that also means that my leg is fully healed. As I said before I left I was discharged over the bone about ten weeks ago now and stopped physiotherapy when I started working again which was about three weeks ago now. Yes that is fully healed and completely discharged, nothing more to worry about unless I get silly and careless, which after everything I have been through I am not likely to do in a hurry.
As well as no being back in the land of the employed, I am also no longer in the realm of the single folk. I have been seeing my wonderful lady for about a month now. Everything is going swimmingly between us. Not going to discuss too much on here as she isn't over keen on my being a member of this site, so will limit the information about our relationship on here.
I am currently making plans to go travelling in Australia this autumn for six months around the east coast. I am hoping to leave sometime in mid October and return near to Easter next spring. Anyone that has either done this before or lives in eastern oz please offer up any information about places to go, things to do events to catch. The more info the better.
