I could give you all an update about how its a whole year since i had my accident <At around 6.20pm (GMT) on Wednesday 1st December I almost died blah! blah! blah!...> but i know you dont want to hear all that and i cant be arsed writing it either. (anyone not knowing the full story can read this)
Instead i will tell you all about all the lovely present i got from my mother after she had a vacation to Dublin with some of my aunts to visit family.
I got 2 bottles of Jamesons malt whiskey (1 is a 12 year old resevre botle) that pleased me emensly as i adore irish whiskey, especially if its malt.
If that wasnt enough she also got me a Guiness rugby shirt; a Guiness tankard style pint glass (I collect interesting designed pint pots ); two Guiness keyrings (1 of which is also a bottle opener, always useful) and a deck of Guiness playing cards (the last one was more of a group thing, but its unlikely either of my brothers will ever use them)
if you hadnt guessed she got a lot of suveniers from the Guiness brewery at St. James' Gate, Dublin. Non of the presents quite beat the one I got myself when i went to cork a few years abck and visited the Jamesons Distillery in Middleton, Co. Cork. I became a qualified Irish whiskey taster, even have a certificate to prove it
I'll try to get pictures of all the items listed later this week for you all to enjoy
still no further developments on the job front and im not holding my breath on getting one before Christmas now.
Hope everyone else is good and well
