R.I.P. George Best. A true legend that will be missed
Although he is a legend and was an outstanding footballer when he played, he still died a lonely sad and pathetic old man who had drank his life away. in my opinion they should have switched the machines off after he got the first infection, as there was little chance of him recovering from it, and if he had recovered he wouldnt have been able to do much anymore, so what was the point?
On another note, the job I was supposed to start on Monday fell through, but there are a couple of others in the pipelines, so Ill let you all know when I hear more myself. But due to the lack of employment right now and the DSS changing which day they pay me on from one payment to the next, I received an email today saying that my next payment couldnt be processed so if I dont get it sorted soon I will no doubt be turning grey in the very foreseeable future Should only be a temporary status change though
On Tuesday I was told I needed another operation on my leg, making it 3 in about 15-18 months. It isnt as bad as it sounds. My bone is healed enough for me to have the nail holding it in place removed. So now Im on the waiting list to have the operation to have the nail and screws removed. The waiting list is 4-6 months long and my consultant says there is no real rush to take it out. Which means I should be back to 90-100% fit again within the next year or so, which is slightly sooner than I had been expecting.
So until next time, have fun everyone
