the problem is: i don't feel like i have anything to learn from him. he does every female haircut the same way, and it's boring. but i don't want to leave.

you are right about him thinking it's going to be super easy. he is easily ten times better at letting his hygiene go to shit than myself, so he has that advantage.
but i have a couple of things that might help me pull this off.
1. we have a wedding to go to on saturday, and he might be pressured into shaving. (as i won't buckle)
2. this is the big one, his girlfriend hates the beard and always makes him shave. she gets back in town in a month, so if it comes down to it i feel i will win then no matter what.
