I'm printing my thesis, finally, it's done. you can look a nicely colored graph taken from it in my pics. the holes are generated by the xrays in the diode, and they move (red arrows) causing a current towards the electrode. it was a qualitative simulation of a real detector.

now I have to drive 2 hours in that crazy dirty city to bring it to the library, and come home to munch and play : )
