... i'm listening to a new album that i picked up on a whim after reading a review of it in a music magazine that one of my employees brought in one day, can't remember which magazine it was, but that is neither here nor there, anyways, it's "1972" by josh rouse, and i must say i'm pleasantly surprised so far. i usually don't pay much attention to critics or album reviews because they are generally pretty one sided and unhelpful. i once sent hatemail to alternative press, which has to be the biggest piece of unreadable garbage not fit to wipe my ass with, for declaring the entire elvis costello catalog "unessential listening", don't get me wrong, not all of his albums are great, but it's elvis costello, their pathetic little publication wouldn't exist if it weren't for people like him, they wouldn't be able to control the minds of the easily impressionable teenage simpletons that they bombard with these cookie cutter "punk" bands, go buy it, they sound just like good charlotte, or new found glory, blow it out of your ass, god i hate these new "punk" bands. i'm not really sure how this turned into an angry tirade, but the josh rouse album is pretty fun...
