Hey ya'll...
I'm going to see KASABIAN tonight. I am SO FUCKING excited. mwahahah.
so this is the deal. I just got a grant to stay at Columbia free of charge this summer. Hmmm, my school loves me. So I will be in the city (with little jaunts here and there to visit people) alllllllll summer. FUN stuff.
Here's the catch, I'm going to need fun people to fun things with. A bunch of my friends are around, but you can never have too many. I'm going to want to go to concerts in the park, museums, beaches and whatever else comes to mind in a burst of spontaneity.
So far I know I can count on stormrider, PATRIOT and Vixen for some fun times this summer. Any other takes?
Yay for Chitin and Vicedriver for volunteering to visit this summer!
So now, about school. My grades are starting to come in. I'm very pleased with them, considering the amount of time I spent studying or writing papers, while daunting and tedious, was not near what it could have been. So yay for upholding my GPA!
Also, I got myself a bitch job working for my school. This however is marvelous, because I will not have to pay anything as far as housing is concerned, and they pay considerably well for what I'm doing. I'll be making mad money. I still want to find a waitressing job somewhere. Builds character as my mother would say.
I was also asked to be a model for American Apparel, so ya'll might see more of me, considering that AA has ads on SG... Yeah, I was with about 12 people on the street at 10 pm. We had just come out of some club on the lower east side. Long story short, apparently the senior partner spotted me from the store. He had me come in and take a few sample pictures, and took my information. We'll see what comes of that.
What else? Oh, my roommate officially moved out!!!! I have a double room to myself. I need to decorate the other half the my room. I'm excited. Anyone want to help?
If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to update. I don't start work until next Monday, so if anyone wants to see a whole lot of me, I have free weekdays . But they're going quickly.

I can't IM (I need my concentration when I need it..) but you can actually email me anytime, I check it often, I use it a little bit like IM but with a short delay..delay..delay. I'm also playing a show with a singer next wednesday at 'Pianos', you should come, she's fantastic! (that's part of what's keeping me so damn busy.
