10:33? There's one of these in the morning? Who would have guessed...

Last night I was reheating my friend's lemon chicken. The pieces of chicken were laid gingerly upon a bed of lettuce. I popped them in the microwave. Behold, two minutes later, I had [extremely] hot lemon chicken morsels, and mecury lettuce that could burn a hole through the platic tiles in the kitchen. Come to think of it, the plastic container was quite warm as well. So naturally, when I reached into the microwave to retrieve my scrumptuous bits of chicken, I was surprised by the burning sensation I encountered. I immediately dropped the plastic container on the counter. All was well, until a glob of acid lettuce escaped the container and lunged at my big toe.
The result? I have a 3rd degree burn on my toe from the iceberg lettuce that garnished my chicken... Ironic no?

Well, now I have papers to write. I'm excited, I'm going down to the village this afternoon to see my friend at NYU (finally)!
