SO in the shit friends news report for the day:
after not speaking to anyone for a week, my dearest best crappy friend stopped by unexpectedly to yell at me for a while. After staring at her blankly for about 5 minutes I responded to her and instead of listening to what i had to say, she simply proceeded to shout over me. I yelled back. After yelling back and forth for a good 10 minutes I told her that I was completely indifferent to all of them and I really couldn't care about them or if they were mad at me. We then had what I think must be my favorite brief dialogue in the history of convorsations:
Her: I can't believe you're trying to tell me that you don't care when just a minute ago you were yelling and screaming. You obviously do care.
Me: You were the one that kept screaming at me.
Her: You're the one that started it!
Me: Because you kept talking over me.
Her: Because you wouldn't let me talk!
Me: Well maybe that's a sign that you should have kept your mouth shut and been listening instead.
I've never seen anyone at such a loss for words than she was at that moment
Why are people always looking for the opportunity to talk? No one is willing to listen anymore they all just want to have their own input on everything. She came to my house to have a convorsation with me and then she wouldn't even listen when I tried to speak. And they are the ones telling me I'm acting childish. Is it any WONDER that I haven't been talking to them? In all honesty I don't think that it should come as any surprise.
Anyway, there's more that happened but I don't really feel like talking about it anymore.
I've started counting down the days until July... 78 days my friends, 78 days.
I go on spring break next week so it will be WONDERFUL to finally have some time off, Ive been completely swamped and overwhelmed lately, but at least its been keeping me busy. I hope you are all well xoxo
